Everyday I accompany modern dance classes and for the past 2 years I've been exploring just using laptop. I've devised a nice setup of just laptop and a small Akai 25 key controller and using Mainstage and Sooperlooper for sounds and live looping. "Checkpoint" is a sample of some of the sounds I've been exploring. This was improvised, performed in one take and I did no editing. "Checkpoint" is the second time I used my daily dance class as material for Song-A-Day. The first was "A Life in the Day", Feb 1st.
