Downton Abbey Rules My Nights

notes:
Downton Abbey rules my nights,
Her Royal Highness' highest heights
We'll be set for the garden party,
if the butlers sparkle and the stews are hearty
The footmen run when they hear the cries,
When the modern conveniences do dies
Pay no mind to the clogged plumbing.
Man to man, War is coming!
Silver tarnishes with ease;
Carriages still roll with grease
Books are a way to succeed,
Hope your lord will let you read.
Written and recorded in one day for the 2013 Song-A-Day project.
