I usually use a sampled Rhodes for these recordings, so I thought it was about time to bring out the real thing. This is Black Beauty, my 1976 88-key Mark I Rhodes. It's being played through an almost-as-ancient JC-120 which at various times has been owned by Chris and Derek - I'm not sure who it actually belongs to any more. I stuck a handheld digital recorder in front of the amp speaker so you're getting the works in terms of noise: speaker hiss, key clicks, and the sounds of effects pedals turned on and off.
