A solo improv I performed on the kora on our first night of an 8 concert tour with solo bassist Steve Lawson and Artemis Robison. Here I play kora and laptop. Mansani is a song I heard on a kora album by Vieux Diop in 1996. I love playing this tune because it allows me to perfectly utilize the trading off of solos between kora and ukulele and undoing and redoing the melodic hook in between the solos.
