On the second night of my tour with Steve Lawson and Artemis Robison in Los Angeles earlier this month, I chose to do a Gravikord solo. The Gravikord is a stainless steel version of the kora, no gourd as a sound board so there is no acoustical properties. But it sounds great amplified! In this track I tapped on the Gravikord for percussion and double timed it. Then added more parts that were modified in Native Instruments Guitar Rig. I also used the Akai Synthstation 25 to add bass and keys and Keith McMillan Quneo to control Sooperlooper in MainStage.
