notes:
Written for my Grandfather on my mother's side. Johnny Winn was a guitar, banjo and ukulele player. That must have been where I got my guitar chops. He gave me his Gibson tenor banjo right before he died. That is the instrument I'm using in this recording. For Johnny Doo doo doo doo... Here comes Johnny's girl the usual trouble, it's just a crazy world but I'd like to be a fly on your electric guitar try mighty hard not to fly away and when you sing of hard times always a smile man, you had style it all was worth while Here comes Johnny's wife you really done it this time lightning strikes twice But I'd like to be a chord on your banjo chase you and your lady's blues away the way you sing of hard times wink and a smile oozing with style it all was worth while. doo doo doo doo...
Tagses: banjo, johnny winn, dixie (we can link these up later)
