notes:
i called my love on sunday and fetched her for a stroll we arched down towards the river passed through the apple grove we came upon a run down shack my desire was made clear but then she ran, she ran from my embrace but then she ran, she ran from my embrace we ran along the muddy banks against the old stone wall the bits of clothing I could reach tore off but that was all she saw right through the trap I set there was no gaining on her but then she ran, she ran from my embrace but then she ran, she ran from my embrace that day the forest came alive and my dreams are now so pale I like to think about her I hear the cyotes wail I hope shes not lyin dead in some forgotten dale but then she ran, she ran from my embrace but then she ran, she ran from my embrace
