notes:
I keep your picture in a frame by the bed in the guest room if anyone asks I say, Its just a picture, just pretend, not a friend - but dont you love those eyes? Those eyes are so wise (Nobody notices my legs, my dress underneath your chair or the smoke in your hair) I keep your picture in a frame by the bed in the guest room if anyone asks, I say... I like a movie like a book, and I took out the saddest parts, filled them with stars Dont you know it was a long time ago? And I changed it all in my memorys halls. I re-imagined you a wealthy man, cliffs on the beach, a holiday tan. Its like a movie or a book that I took out the saddest parts, filled them with stars I keep a mask on a nail by the door, put in on last, a peek through the glass. I keep a little bit hidden for myself part of the flash, part of the cast. Maybe you wanna get in on this view. Coffee to go, smile on cue. I keep a mask on a nail by the door, put in on last, look through the glass.
