 Sometimes the wind may blow
Sometimes it may rain and snow
Sometimes we won't reap what we sow
but theres one thing we know
nothing will stay the same
we can count on the change

in ways the waves push and pull the sand
in layers of lines in each of hands
in phases of moon, seasons of earth
in perception of time, death and birth
from crystal to droplet to vapor
The pigments of leaves
poetry paper

In ways the seed becomes the fruit
In ways the body heals the wounds
In ways snake sheds its suit
in ways mother nurtures womb
from fire to ashes to ashes to dust
from broken to unshakable trust

Somethings grow
Somethings glow
Somethings go way below
Somethings try
Somethings die
Somethings fly in the sky
