Ducky’s Fish & Chips In the strip mall on Sunrise Avenue and Greenback Lane Nothing looks appetizing about the place I’ve never seen a trace of anybody eating there It’s barely there, unnoticed Always open and empty It’s got to be a front for the mob oh yeah Always open and empty That’s gotta be some kind of job oh yeah There might be a subculture that I don’t know anything about People unified by a quiet love for Ducky’s Fish & Chips Fast food for people in a particular mood (a franchise for people who don't have eyes) But there can’t be that many people Because there is never anybody there How does it stay open? Always open and empty Hey, hey slobs oh yeah Always open and empty That’s gotta be some kind of job oh yeah One of these days I’m gonna go in there to see what the hell is going on But not today and not tomorrow… I saw a shirtless dude drinking a 40 can Teetering on a long skateboard spinning around in circles In front of Ducky’s Fish & Chips In that strip mall on Sunrise Avenue I’m guessing the dude was about 46 Maybe homeless The traffic lights on the fritz I’m watching from my car A dude doing aimless circles Aimless circles… in front of Ducky’s Fish & Chips Ducky’s Fish & Chips Always open and empty It’s got to be a front for the mob oh yeah Always open and empty That’s gotta be some kind of job oh yeah
